Refunds
Refunds, without friction
Last updated October 7, 2026
Every TerminalX purchase comes with a 14-day refund window. One email is enough. No forms, no chat bots, no questions about why.
14 days, no interrogation
If TerminalX is not for you, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it. You do not need to explain why. This applies to every launch tier — $9, $19 or $29.
How to claim a refund
- Email [email protected] from the address you bought with, or include it in the message.
- Mention that you want a refund — that is the whole form.
- We refund through Polar, back to your original payment method. Polar confirms the refund to you by email.
- Your licence key is deactivated as part of the refund. A refund ends your access to future updates for that key.
What happens inside the app
TerminalX checks your licence key with Polar when you first activate it and then once a week. If the key is revoked — which is what a refund does — the app locks until an active licence is entered. Between checks the app works completely offline, and a check that cannot reach the internet never locks you out on its own: only a revocation, or 30 days without any successful check, does.
We ask that you uninstall the app and delete your copy if you refund it — but we will not fight you over it.
The 50% back offer is separate
The cash-back offer (post about TerminalX, get 50% or 100% of your money back based on views) is a separate, optional offer explained on its own page. You can claim it in addition to a refund, but a refund ends the licence either way.
Problems, not refunds
If the app will not connect, will not build, or something broke after an update, email us first — most issues are fixed the same week, and bug reports shape what we ship next. A refund stays available for the full 14 days either way.
Ready to try it? Get TerminalX from $9 — and keep the refund window open in your back pocket. The 50% back offer is there if you like to post.
